Please give 24 hours notice to the laboratory. Fresh, dry tissue delivered directly to the department. Contact number of sender must be included on request form. For large samples, please mark area of interest for frozen section with a suture.

Patient Preparation

Frozen sections will not be performed on known or query category 3 specimens.
