**Patients with diarrhoea are an infectiopn control risk and should be isolated** Performed on diarrhoeal samples from all children that are in-patients, except if known to be vaccinated against Rotavirus. Elderly (>70 years) patients when a potential outbreakis indicated. The result can be available in <4 hrs if required.


Patient Preparation

Follow standard nursing procedures to obtain sample
