Patient Preparation

Superficial sites - clean with surgical spirit. SKIN - Take specimen by scraping outwards from edge of lesion. HAIR - Take specimens of hair stubs, content of plugged follicles and skin scales. ( Cut hairs are unsatisfactory as the source of infec
