External Notes

Fresh specimen wrapped in saline soaked gauze and placed in dry sterile universal container. Deliver to laboratory immediately or refrigerate if outside departmental opening hours. DO NOT SEND DIF SPECIMENS IN THE AIR TRANSPORT SYSTEM.
