T lymphocytes from CD3 selection
Haematology
Description
Patients who have had an allogeneic stem cell transplant undergo chimerism testing at periodic intervals to measure the % of haemopoietic cells that are derived from donor stem cells. This may be performed on whole blood or on a CD3+ selected T cell population. If selected CD3+ T cells are tested, the quality of the purification process is checked on an aliquot of the isolated cells by flow cytometry to identify the % of T cell in the fraction.
Indications
Performed on samples that are having T cell chimerism to check the purity of the T cell enriched sample.
Sample Type
T Cell enriched suspension
