Haemophilia & Assays Section Lead - Coagulation


Annette started training in the Coagulation Department at the Royal Hallamshire hospital in 1996 and was awarded her MSc in Pathological Science in 1998. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the diagnosis and monitoring of bleeding disorders with a current focus on laboratory issues surrounding novel and extended half-life treatment products for Haemophilia. Annette completed her PhD in Cardiovascular Science with a thesis focusing on the laboratory diagnosis of mild Haemophilia A. She is a member of the UK Haemophilia Centres Doctors’ Organisation laboratory working party, a fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Science and member of both the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis and the World Federation of Haemophilia.

Annette is the section lead for Haemophilia Assays in the department of Coagulation at the Sheffield Haemophilia and Thrombosis Centre.
