Mortuary Manager
Sarah joined the Funeral Service as a trainee Embalmer in 2002 and achieved her Embalming qualifications in 2004. She continued to progress by studying a Mortuary Science Degree at Chester University which was gained in 2010.
She joined Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board based in Llantrisant South Wales as a qualified Mortuary Technician in 2013, and achieved Anatomical Pathology Diploma status in 2015.
Sarah continued to support and progress a busy Mortuary Service across 3 sites, whilst maintaining a coronial postmortem service and patient storage.
Sarah joined STH in January 2021 as Mortuary Manager. She is responsible for the mortuary service provided at STH and works closely with the HTA to ensure that the exacting regulatory standards are met.
Sarah recently became a Fellow of the Association for Anatomical Pathology Technologists.
